Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 September 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Horizon Solar Qualifier at horizonqualifier.com (the “Service”). Please read them carefully before using the Service. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

Who we are

The Service is operated by Horizon Living Group, a UK business providing home energy improvement lead qualification services.

For general enquiries about these terms, please contact: info@horizonlivinggroup.com

The Service

The Horizon Solar Qualifier is an online assessment that collects information about your property and energy use to generate an indicative solar suitability score and a personalised results summary.

The assessment is free to complete and carries no obligation. It is provided for information purposes only and is not a formal survey, technical feasibility study, financial advice, installation recommendation or quotation.

If you choose to request a quotation, your details may be passed to a trusted installation partner under a separate agreement or process operated by that partner.

Using the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in the UK to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

You may not misuse the Service by introducing viruses or other harmful material, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the Service where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Payments, subscriptions and cancellations

The Horizon Solar Qualifier assessment is currently provided free of charge to end users.

Where any future paid feature, subscription or service is offered, the applicable price, billing cycle and cancellation rights will be clearly displayed before you confirm your purchase. You may cancel any paid subscription in accordance with the cancellation terms shown at the point of purchase and applicable consumer law.

Refunds

Because the core assessment is free, no refund arises for its use. For any paid product or service offered in the future, refund eligibility will be stated at the point of purchase and handled in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection law.

Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice. The Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, your rights and how to contact us.

Results and reliance

Any suitability score, observation or report produced by the Service is indicative and based solely on the information you provide. It does not replace a qualified on-site assessment, structural survey or electrical inspection.

Actual solar performance, savings and installation feasibility depend on many factors beyond the scope of this online assessment. You should not rely on the results as the sole basis for a purchase decision.

Intellectual property

The content, design, branding, software and scoring logic of the Service are owned by Horizon Living Group or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written consent.

Liability

We provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Horizon Living Group excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any decision made or action taken in reliance on the assessment results.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, our services or business practices. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.

Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
